Anavia, an EDGE Group entity and a leading provider of advanced rotary-wing unmanned aerial systems (UAS), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Embention, a global leader in autopilot and avionics systems for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), to explore collaboration opportunities in advancing next-generation autonomous flight capabilities.
The MOU, signed on the sidelines of the Dubai Airshow 2025, establishes a framework for the potential integration of Embention’s Veronte Autopilot system into Anavia's unmanned helicopter platforms, to further enhance their autonomous performance and operational efficiency.
“Embention is excited to partner with Anavia to explore how our advanced autopilot solutions can enhance the autonomy and mission readiness of its cutting-edge unmanned helicopter systems”, said David Benavente Sánchez, CEO of Embention. “This MOU is a crucial step in formalising our commitment to identifying powerful, mission-ready autonomous solutions alongside Anavia and EDGE Group”, he added.
“This partnership underscores Anavia's dedication to pushing the boundaries of autonomous flight to enhance operational performance and flight mission readiness. By uniting our next-generation unmanned helicopters with Embention’s trusted autopilot systems, we are paving the way for new possibilities, creating more powerful, reliable, and advanced unmanned aircraft”, said Jon Andri Jorg, CEO of Anavia.
The collaboration reaffirms both companies’ shared commitment to advancing UAS capabilities and delivering reliable, mission-ready systems built on best-in-class technologies.
