Hutchinson and Dynamatic Technologies Limited have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to address the fast-growing aerospace market in India. This strategic collaboration combines Hutchinson’s advanced composite and multi-material systems expertise with Dynamatic’s strong industrial capabilities in metallic aerostructures and assemblies, positioning both companies as leading partners for global OEMs operating in the region.
Hutchinson develops and manufactures advanced composite solutions and integrated systems, from design to serial production, supporting OEMs in meeting demanding requirements in performance, weight reduction, sustainability, and competitiveness. Dynamatic Technologies brings proven expertise in metallic aerostructures and class 1 assemblies, showcasing India’s aerospace manufacturing capabilities on a global stage.
By combining Dynamatic’s industrial footprint for complex metallic structures with Hutchinson’s world‑class materials and systems know-how, this collaboration aims to support the ramp-up of aircraft programs, address the needs of India’s rapidly expanding aerospace market, and prepare for the next generation of aircraft. Within this framework, Dynamatic will award Hutchinson its first composite parts work package, while Hutchinson will award Dynamatic a first multi-year metallic parts contract, marking a strong initial step in the collaboration.
“This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to supporting the long-term development of India’s aerospace ecosystem, particularly for complex work packages and high-rate programs”, said Hélène Moreau-Leroy, Chairman and CEO of Hutchinson. “India, where Hutchinson is already well established through its automotive activities, represents a fast‑growing and highly promising aerospace market. This cooperation will bring strong industrial competitiveness and a high level of expertise to global OEMs. It also demonstrates our ability to deliver complex, innovative and competitive solutions globally, and close to our customers”.
Dynamatic Technologies also emphasized the mutual benefits of the agreement cooperation represents a transformative shift for the global aerospace supply chain: “This strategic combining the best of both worlds in metallics and composites. The collaboration enables OEMs to unlock new opportunities from India through value engineering, accelerated product development, and scalable manufacturing volumes” said Udayant Malhoutra, CEO and Managing Director of Dynamatic Technologies Limited.
