Natilus has formed a strategic partnership with Palantir Technologies to improve the production of sustainable aircraft in the United States. By deploying Palantir’s AI-based operating system, the company aims to speed up its approach to aircraft design, engineering and manufacturing while streamlining its operations and supply chain.
With the global aircraft industry under pressure to meet demand for cargo and passenger models, and to reduce emissions, Natilus is developing a family of blended-wing-body aircraft. These include the Kona regional freighter and the Horizon 200-passenger aircraft, both designed for lower fuel use and higher payload capacity.
The partnership will see Natilus use Palantir’s Warp Speed platform to strengthen manufacturing and supply chain operations. It will later support predictive maintenance, disruption response and real-time aircraft data tracking for optimisation.
CEO Aleksey Matyushev says: “We made a commitment to build the first manufacturing facility for the world’s most efficient commercial aircraft here in the U.S. Our success hinges on accelerating our production capabilities and leveraging Palantir’s AI-driven platform will allow us to transform our manufacturing operations to run more efficiently and meet customer demand for the cargo and passenger markets.”
