Redwire Corporation’s subsidiary Edge Autonomy has been awarded a prototype phase agreement by the U.S. Army to develop and deliver its Stalker uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) for the Long Range Reconnaissance (LRR) programme.
Under the contract, Edge Autonomy will provide Stalker UAS with advanced sensors, secure communications, autonomous mobility features and modular payload configurations tailored to mission-specific needs. The systems are intended for extended surveillance and intelligence gathering in contested environments and will be tested by the Army in upcoming flight operations.

Designed with a Modular Open Systems Approach, the Stalker platform and its components will give Army units real-time situational awareness, greater operational reach and improved survivability in remote areas.
