Production of the 300th Rafale has been completed under the oversight of the Direction générale de l’Armement and the engineering management of Dassault Aviation. The milestone reflects the operational, industrial, and commercial success of the combat aircraft, which has proven its versatility and effectiveness in service.
The Rafale programme brings together around 400 French companies and remains central to France’s industrial and military sovereignty, supported by its technological achievements and export performance.
A total of 533 Rafale aircraft have been ordered by France and eight export customers, with 233 still to be delivered. Dassault is increasing production to four aircraft per month to meet demand.
The first Rafales became operational with the French Navy in 2004 and with the French Air Force in 2006, while export deliveries began in 2015 to Egypt.
