AURA AERO opens US HQ and production line at Embry-Riddle
Wednesday, 5 November 2025
The Embry-Riddle site will anchor AURA AERO’s North American growth and serve as its hub for Integral training aircraft production.

AURA AERO has opened an 11,000 sq ft facility at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Research Park in Florida, marking the company’s first U.S. headquarters and production site. The new campus will serve as the North American Delivery and Customer Support Center for the Integral program, while also laying the foundation for the company’s hybrid-electric ERA aircraft.

The first production line will assemble the Integral family of two-seater, aerobatic-capable training aircraft, initially with Lycoming piston engines and later as a 100% electric version. The U.S., home to nearly 600 FAA-approved flight schools and over 75,000 pilots, represents a key market for the Integral program.

With recent EASA certification and FAA approval in progress, the Integral series offers an advanced, efficient solution for both conventional and electric training operations. Looking ahead, AURA AERO plans to establish a 500,000 sq.ft assembly line in 2028 for its 19-seat ERA aircraft, aiming to become the first manufacturer of hybrid-electric regional aircraft operating across France and the U.S.

Florida’s site was made possible through a collaboration with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and support from Space Florida, the state’s aerospace development agency. The project is expected to create over a thousand high-skill jobs.

“Today’s announcement by AURA AERO and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is a shining example of the Governor’s leadership in growing Florida’s aviation industries, focus on fostering the talent to support innovative aviation job creators, and development of a market in which innovators can invest capital confidently,” says Florida Secretary of Commerce J. Alex Kelly.

“Florida has long been a leader in aeronautics and space, and the technical expertise of its workforce is a tremendous asset in asserting our leadership in the electric and hybrid-electric aviation sectors,” adds Jérémy Caussade, President and co-founder of AURA AERO.
