Pilatus begins construction of Colorado delivery and engineering hub
Wednesday, 22 April 2026
The site will bring together customer handovers, design work and processing, as the company deepens its presence in its biggest market.

Pilatus has begun construction of a facility at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport in Broomfield, Colorado, expanding its US presence and operational capacity.

The site will house a customer delivery centre, allowing buyers to configure and personalise PC-12 and PC-24 aircraft, alongside expanded engineering and passenger seat processing functions to support the growing fleet.

The groundbreaking ceremony included Pilatus leadership and regional stakeholders, reflecting the importance of the investment to both the company and the local area.

Markus Bucher, CEO of Pilatus Group, says: “This new facility with an investment of 50 million US dollars will allow Pilatus to expand local engineering capabilities by creating more than 50 new, highly paid jobs. Together, these functions will support Pilatus' continued commitment to quality, innovation, and Swiss craftsmanship while ensuring an exceptional customer experience”.

Thomas Bosshard, CEO of Pilatus Aircraft USA Ltd, says: “The United States is the most important market for Pilatus, and this investment underscores our commitment to a personalized and seamless customer experience throughout the ownership journey”.

The development follows the consolidation of Pilatus’ US subsidiaries into a single entity from January 2026, creating a unified organisation of around 400 employees across multiple locations.
