Mobix Labs has relocated its West Coast production facilities and corporate headquarters to a larger military-approved facility nearby at 28 Hammond Suite E in Irvine, California, expanding capacity for its defence manufacturing operations.
The site serves as the primary manufacturing and operations centre for the company's Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) business unit and includes a manufacturing floor that is approximately double the size of the previous facility.
The relocation consolidates operational functions that were previously spread across a larger footprint, with the aim of improving workflows, increasing efficiency and supporting future growth across defence, aerospace and drone markets.
The facility will support production of EMI components for the F-22 Raptor programme as well as defence communications hardware supplied under a multi-year U.S. Navy programme.
“We are very excited by the improved infrastructure and expanded production footprint provided by our new facility,” says Amir Asvadi, General Manager at EMI. “It will support improved production efficiency as well as our growth initiatives in critical defence, aerospace and drone markets.”
