PW900 Series

Auxiliary Power Units with two-shaft gas turbine engine design and two gearbox-mounted generators, powering on-ground cabin conditioning (via bleed air from low spool-driven load compressor) and electrical power systems. Includes two APUs with 90kVA generators: PW901A APU, and PW901C APU, and the largest APU used by commercial airlines: PW980 APU, with 120kVA generators (capable of on-ground main engine starting and in-flight backup power).
