Aircraft program
The fuselage is manufactured in moulds from carbon or glass fibre with epoxy resin and is built on a central aluminium alloy tube. It has a Lexan polycarbonate windscreen and a stratified wood propeller. Expanded PVC foam fillings and Duralumin alloy are also used and the seats contain kevlar.
There are manual flight controls. Full-span flaperons are actuated by aluminium tubular pushrods and the elevator and rudder by Bowden cable.
It has a tricycle-type fixed landing gear with wheel fairings. The mainwheel hydraulic symmetrical brakes are actuated from the control stick. The main spring legs are made of carbon fibre, glass fibre and wood.
The steerable nosewheel has an adjustable spring suspension constructed of carbon fibre, glass fibre and steel tube.
Each wing can be folded by removing three screws, as can the horizontal and vertical stabilisers as well as the back part of the fuselage.
