Aircraft control surfaces encompass the movable aerodynamic panels — including ailerons, elevators, rudders, elevons, tailerons, and canards — that govern an aircraft's pitch, roll, and yaw axes, manufactured from aluminium alloy, CFRP, and honeycomb-core sandwich structures using autoclave cure, resin transfer moulding (RTM), and CNC-machined hinge fittings with surface treatments such as anodising and corrosion-inhibiting primers.
