Bleed air systems encompass the ducting, valves, precoolers, pressure-regulating and shut-off valves (PRSOVs), and flow-control components that extract and condition high-pressure, high-temperature air from engine compressor stages for use in environmental control systems (ECS), anti-icing, and cabin pressurisation, employing titanium and Inconel alloys to withstand sustained pneumatic loads and thermal cycling.
