Clevis pins are cylindrical shear-load fasteners used to secure clevis-and-tab joints in flight control linkages, actuator attachments, landing gear assemblies and structural hinges, manufactured from alloy steel, titanium, or corrosion-resistant steel (CRES) to MIL-P and NAS specifications, with cross-drilled holes to accept cotter pins or retaining rings for positive retention.
