Control grips are pilot-interface components fitted to flight control inceptors, encompassing cyclic, collective, and sidestick grip assemblies that integrate trigger switches, hat switches, and HOTAS (Hands On Throttle And Stick) button arrays, and are typically constructed from aluminium alloy or engineering polymer substrates with overmoulded elastomeric gripping surfaces to meet ergonomic and DO-160 environmental qualification requirements.
