Electroforming covers the electrodeposition of metals — principally nickel, copper, and gold — onto conductive or conductively coated mandrels to produce near-net-shape aerospace components with exceptional dimensional accuracy and surface fidelity, including waveguides, bellows, nozzles, and complex thin-walled structures where conventional machining cannot achieve the required geometry or wall thickness.
