Engine housings encompass the structural outer shells and intermediate casings that enclose and align core turbine and compressor modules, manufactured from titanium alloys, nickel superalloys, and aluminium castings using investment casting, precision machining, and electron beam welding, with CMC (ceramic matrix composite) variants increasingly applied where high-temperature resistance and weight reduction are required.
