Engine mounts are structural interface components that attach the propulsion unit to the airframe or pylon, transmitting thrust, torque, and vibratory loads whilst providing controlled flexibility through elastomeric or metallic isolator elements. Manufactured from titanium alloy, high-strength steel, or nickel superalloy forgings, they are subject to FAR/CS-E certification requirements and must accommodate thermal growth and dynamic load paths under all flight envelope conditions.
