Environmental test equipment encompasses chambers, rigs and instrumentation used to subject aerospace components, assemblies and complete systems to controlled climatic and atmospheric conditions, including thermal cycling, humidity, altitude simulation, salt fog, sand and dust exposure, and combined temperature–humidity–vibration (THV) profiles, in accordance with standards such as DO-160, MIL-STD-810 and RTCA specifications.
