Radar receivers encompass the RF front-end assemblies, mixers, low-noise amplifiers (LNAs), and signal-processing chains used to detect, filter, and convert radar return signals within airborne surveillance, weather, and fire-control systems, incorporating technologies such as superheterodyne architectures, direct-conversion designs, digital IF processing, and GaAs or GaN MMIC-based receiver modules manufactured to DO-160 environmental standards.
