Servovalves are precision electromechanical flow-control devices that modulate hydraulic or pneumatic fluid in closed-loop control systems, converting low-power electrical command signals into proportional fluid output via torque-motor or voice-coil actuated flapper-nozzle or jet-pipe pilot stages, with spool-type second stages governing flow and pressure to flight-control actuators and other servo-driven loads.
