Winglets covers the design and manufacture of upswept wingtip extensions and wingtip fences in CFRP, GFRP, and aluminium alloy, produced via autoclave-cured prepreg layup, resin transfer moulding (RTM), or automated fibre placement (AFP), and integrated with the primary wing structure through metallic root fittings and sealed bonded joints to reduce induced drag.
