The airframe is mostly glass fibre with some carbon fibre, and fabric-covered wings and elevator. It has titanium spring struts for its outrigger floats.

The landing gear comprises a boat hull with strut-mounted wingtip floats, a steerable tailwheel plus spring cantilever mainwheel legs. Retraction is achieved by a manual lever.

There are hydraulic brakes on the mainwheel and there is an optional BRS ballistic recovery parachute, optional lighting and a towing eye.

A step along the side of the body reduces the take off run on water.
