Cirrus selects Ametek Aerospace & Defense for primary electrical power generation and control aboard Vision SF50 jet

AMETEK Aerospace & Defense has been selected by Cirrus Aircraft Corporation, Duluth, MN, to provide the starter generator and generator control unit for its Cirrus Vision SF50 personal jet. The AMETEK system includes its MG94 Series Starter Generator and CG201 Series Generator Control Unit.

The Cirrus Vision SF50 is a 5+2 seat jet aircraft intended for personal use that is currently under development. Founded in 1984, Cirrus is a leader in single-engine, piston-powered aircraft for personal use.
