Elbit gains countermeasure contract for UAE's A330 MRT

Elbit countermeasures are to feature on multi-role tankers flown by the UAE Air Force, amid growing demand for self-protection capabilities against the threat that aircraft face from shoulder fired anti-aircraft missiles.

Quiet supersonic demonstrator starts ground testing in Texas

While in Texas, ground testing of the X-59 will ensure the aircraft can withstand the loads and stresses that typically occur during flight. The team will also calibrate and test the fuel systems.

Hanwha Aerospace plans hydrogen fuel cell for UAMs

The total project cost is about 21 billion won over four years, and Hanwha aims to secure core technologies for hydrogen fuel cells for aviation by 2025, such as improving fuel cell performance and reducing system weight.

Certification of the MC-21-300 aircraft is nearing completion, and it is planned to start delivering it to customers in 2022. The MS-21-310 aircraft with the new Russian PD-14 engine is undergoing flight tests.
