Sentech, Inc., a portfolio company of Astor Place Holdings, today announced that it has acquired Motion Sensors, a leading provider of advanced speed sensing solutions based in Elizabeth City, NC.
Established in 1970, Motion Sensors is a leading developer of state-of-the-art speed sensors. They provide their customers with world-class engineering and manufacturing capabilities across a variety of industries, including industrial, commercial aerospace, space, rail & transit and military.
This acquisition reinforces Sentech's commitment to invest and grow its industrial, aerospace and military portfolio solutions to a global customer base. Motion Sensors brings to Sentech a wealth of expertise in numerous magnetic product types including Hall Effect and Variable Reluctance technologies. By combining Motion Sensors’ capabilities along with Sentech’s, we are strengthening our position as a leader in mission critical position, proximity and speed sensor applications.
