Times Microwave Systems, a pioneering brand of high-performance RF and microwave interconnect solutions for more than 70 years, announces the launch of its Levitate cable assembly line. Designed for both military and commercial RF systems, the Levitate line offers an ultra-lightweight construction with minimal signal loss, making it an ideal solution for avionics applications across UAV Groups 1 through 5.
Levitate assemblies provide the lightest weight per unit of loss available on the market today, equipping engineers with the ability to reduce overall system mass without compromising RF performance. Budget-friendly and readily available through authorised distribution, the Levitate line offers an efficient, scalable way to support critical RF runs both inside and outside the box.
"The Levitate product line fills a real gap in the airframe and avionics community, specifically in the UAV market," says Matthew Radicchi, Director, Market Intelligence for Times Microwave Systems. "This new line exhibits the perfect blend of cost, performance, and availability, providing customers with a lightweight solution that supports the aggressive needs of today's demands."
The Levitate family is built to serve a wide range of airborne applications, including but not limited to flight control, communications, and surveillance. Each assembly is engineered to maintain reliable performance in demanding operating environments.
Levitate assemblies are offered in multiple sizes including LVT047, LVT086, LVT141, LVT157, and LVT196. All assemblies are engineered for dual use, meeting the modern demands of both military and commercial RF systems. While the extremely flexible construction of the LVT047, LVT086, and LVT141 assemblies are ideal for in-the-box applications, the ultra-lightweight LVT157 and LVT196 derivatives support critical RF runs connecting antennas to LRUs.
Global Availability and 2026 Showcase
The Levitate line will be available through authorised distribution partners and will be showcased at industry tradeshows around the globe throughout the year, providing engineers and integrators an opportunity to explore the product line firsthand and discuss system-specific needs with Times Microwave experts.
