Rosen Aviation has been selected by Piaggio America as the preferred choice when specifying an optional in-flight entertainment system for the Piaggio P.180 Avanti II aircraft.
At the center of the entertainment system is Rosen's new RosenView VX combo unit, a world-wide moving map, region-free DVD player, and audio/video switching system contained in one small rugged unit. With the RosenView VX, users can select the moving map system, watch a DVD, listen to MP3s, or plug in their favorite hand-held audio/video device for their viewing and audio pleasure. To complement the RosenView VX system, Piaggio has also selected Rosen's 7" WideScreen sidewall-mount display.
"We are very excited and honored that Piaggio has selected Rosen Aviation as the supplier of choice for the P.180 aircraft," stated Jeff Unger, Rosen Aviation VP of Engineering. "With so many features in the RosenView VX combo unit, many OEMs and after-market suppliers are realizing that this system is a perfect solution for light jet, very light jet, and turboprop aircraft applications."
Rosen Aviation will be displaying its in-flight entertainment systems at NBAA, September 25 – 27, in Atlanta, Georgia, Building C, booth #1864.
