The portfolio of high tenacity carbon fibers will be expanded by the new product Tenax®-E HTS45 E23 12K 800tex. The improved fiber-matrix adhesion gives high and balanced mechanical properties in various resin systems and has significant advantage for structural parts under fatigue load. The optimal spreadability enables low fiber areal weights to be achieved in textile production and allows a very even, consistent surface finish to the fabric.
Tenax®-E HTS45 E23 12K 800tex is available world-wide. This type is already successfully used in industrial applications and is now also available for aerospace applications. It is produced in Germany with the known high quality standards on the latest production facilities.
Toho Tenax will present this new filament yarn Tenax® HTS45 E23 for the first time at the JEC 2011 in Paris.
