EPI Europrop International GmbH (EPI) has finalised an amendment to the agreement with its customer Airbus Military SL for the TP400 engine, which powers the A400M military transport aircraft. The agreement also settles all outstanding issues between the two companies.
The contract amendment was signed in Toulouse by EPI President Simon Henley and Erik Buschmann, Head of Propulsion Procurement for Airbus Military.
Commenting on the conclusion of the deal Simon Henley, President of Europrop International, said: "This agreement marks another important milestone in the programme and highlights the desire of both EPI and Airbus Military to work closely together to deliver an engine and aircraft combination that will set new standards in the military transport market."
The TP400 has completed all certification testing and has now amassed over 5,000 flying hours.
