Innovative Solutions & Support, Inc. (NASDAQ: ISSC) has been awarded a contract by Boeing for the Aerial Refueling Operator Control and Display Units for the KC-46A Tanker. The initial contract is for the EMD (Engineering Manufacturing and Development) phase.
"We're proud to be part of the team to build the US Air Force's KC-46A Tanker," said Roman Ptakowski, IS&S President.
The United States Air Force has awarded a contract to the Boeing Company to deliver 179 KC-46A aircraft to replace aging KC-135 tankers.
