ANAC certifies new cabin option for Phenom 300
Sunday, 13 May 2012

With the certification of a two-place divan by Brazil's Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil (ANAC), Embraer is now offering an additional seating configuration for the Phenom 300 that brings total capacity for the light aircraft up to 11 occupants. Certification by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) are expected to follow shortly.

"This new option is in response to customer requests," said Luciano Castro, Vice President Programs. "With the two-place divan, customers have even greater flexibility when designing the interior of their Phenom 300s."

The divan, certified for two occupants during takeoff and landing, will be offered as one of the many options customers may choose on the Phenom 300. A seventh cabin seat and a belted lavatory are other options already in service.

The Phenom 300 light jet accommodates up to 11 occupants in a spacious interior designed in partnership with BMW Group DesignworksUSA. The Phenom 300 is one of the fastest aircraft in the light jet category, reaching 521 mph (839 km/h, or 453 knots – KTAS). Its range of 1,971 nautical miles (3,650 km), including NBAA IFR fuel reserves, means the aircraft is capable of flying nonstop from New York to Dallas, in the U.S.; from London to Athens, in Europe; or from Delhi (India) to Dubai (United Arab Emirates).
