AveoEngineering, the manufacturer of the AveoPhantom™ sport aircraft and DigitalFlightDeck™ touchscreen avionics suite, announces the selection of its launch engine for both the Phantom and Shadow aircraft. Partnering with UL Power Aero Engines of Belgium, Aveo has moved a generation ahead with the integration of this FADEC (Full Authority Digital Engine Control), providing fully electronic variable timing ignitino and multipoint fuel injection. The direct drive, low rpm engine increases safety and reduces pilot workload through true single lever control. The UL260i eliminates the worries you often have with a carburettor : manual choke and leaning, dangerous icing problems, intake air heating and the resulting power loss, these are all things of the past. Just press the start button and enjoy flying!
AVEO has integrated this engine of the future to its own DigitalFlightDeck™, specifically to the AveoEngineer™ touchscreen digital powerplant monitoring system, and its exclusive AveoFliteControl™ aircraft master control module. AVEO is ready to introduce pilots to the cockpit of the future, designed around safety and efficiency, not complexity.
