Erickson Air-Crane Incorporated, a leading aviation manufacturer, aftermarket provider, OEM, and operating company, announced today the signing of a Master Agreement with Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. to build fabricated aircraft assemblies. Activities under the Master Agreement scope of work will begin immediately, using a wide range of Erickson expertise in engineering, legacy aircraft production, and fabrication of aircraft assemblies. The total contract value is more than $5.6 million. Erickson expects to recognize the majority of contract revenues when assemblies start shipping in 2014 through 2015.

The recent acquisitions of Evergreen Helicopters and Air Amazonia demonstrate our heritage as experts in heavy-lift helicopters, and position us as an excellent partner across a number of important platforms.”
