A.E. Petsche Company and Boeing Commercial Aircraft today announced an agreement to extend their contract under which A.E. Petsche provides electrical wire & cable, and harness management products to Boeing. Under this agreement, A.E. Petsche provides Just-In-Time supply services from its distribution facility at Paine Field, adjacent to Boeing's Everett, WA assembly plant. A.E. Petsche has provided similar inventory management services to Boeing since late 2001. By utilizing A.E. Petsche JIT services, Boeing is assured of a consistent supply of material and minimized in-house inventory within Boeing.
Neil Vitellaro, Everett based A.E. Petsche Regional Manager commented, "A.E. Petsche is extremely proud of our on-time delivery and quality record with Boeing Commercial Aircraft. We are pleased to be a contributor to Boeing's ongoing efforts to reduce inventory and overall procurement costs in the supply chain. Our management program allows Boeing to focus on aircraft harness production and avoid costly material shortages."
A.E. Petsche maintains an extensive inventory of Boeing wire & cable and harness management products at its Everett, WA warehouse and provides production support services to Boeing on 24/7 basis. A.E. Petsche Company manages similar JIT supply programs with many of the world's leading aviation OEM's.
