PRESS RELEASE
Issued by: Dassault Aviation
Dassault Aviation's new Falcon 8X has received approval from the US Federal Aviation Administration. FAA certification, just after receipt of European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) type certificate, brings the big new trijet's certification and flight test campaign to a successful conclusion.
The Falcon 8X is now preparing for entry-into-service which is scheduled for early fourth quarter.
The 6,450 nm / 11,945 km Falcon 8X will provide the greatest range and longest cabin of any Falcon and the same exceptional short-field performance, operating economy and quietness as the Falcon 7X from which it is derived. It will also offer the largest selection of standard cabin configurations on any large business jet.
