Plascore, Inc., manufacturer of honeycomb core products and engineered solutions, is pleased to announce that the company has received Nadcap Accreditation for its non-metallic and aramid honeycomb core manufacturing processes, including test laboratories.

Nadcap's audit, unlike traditional Quality System audits, focuses on a step by step review of honeycomb manufacturing and testing processes on actual parts. This evaluates how customer and aerospace requirements are met using Nadcap checklists. These checklists are honeycomb product specific, developed by a Nadcap Task Group consisting of aerospace industry experts specializing in this special process. The Task Group's role also is to evaluate the audit results and ultimately determine compliance to the demanding criteria.

The recent Nadcap Accreditation joins AS/EN9100, ISO 9001:2008, and ISO 14001 certifications previously achieved by Plascore.
