PRESS RELEASE
Issued by: DEMGY (was Dedienne Multiplasturgy Group)
This is the first time one company out of more than 400 suppliers in France, has been rewarded for its capacity to achieve superior levels of satisfaction three years running (2010, 2011 and 2012). Only 4 companies have achieved this since the creation of the trophy in 2010.
Awarded on the 4th April to the DEDIENNE teams by Mr Vincent Caro, Purchasing director of SNECMA and M Frederic LIEBEN, Supplier performance manager, this award underlines the excellent performance achieved in 2012 in both logistics and quality with 100% service level and 0 ppm in non-conformance.
Backed by more than 50 years of collaboration with SNECMA, this association has allowed the promotion of the strong partnership elements between the 2 companies, notably in the aspects of innovation and value creation around the integration of polymer and high performance composite parts : "The replacement of metal with plastics and composites in the context of the challenge of making parts lighter" is one of the major challenges for the engine of tomorrow (LEAP).
Thanks to its Multiplasturgy concept, DEDIENNE is, in effect, a European leader in plasturgie through its ability to combine its know-how and expertise in the conversion of technical plastics, high performance polymers and composites, from the phase of 'co-conception' through to that of manufacture in small and large runs and plastic sub-assemblies and high added value composites.
