In 2009, The Gill Corporation began development of a new product aimed at vibration and noise attenuation. GillVANA was created through a proprietary process of applying a synthetic viscoelastic coating onto honeycomb core that integrates acoustic damping technology into aircraft sandwich panels. GillVANA eliminates the need for acoustic tiles, insulation blankets or foams and delivers excellent damping against vibration and sound. GilllVANA panels are ideal for aircraft interior sandwich panel applications such as flooring and sidewalls.
