Web Industries products and service on exhibit at SAMPE
At SAMPE Booth Q21, Web Industries will highlight its thermoplastic formatting capabilities, precision slitting technologies, ply cutting and kitting expertise and supply chain services.
Web can slit, spool and chop thermoplastic composite materials to aerospace-grade quality levels and commercial-scale volumes for automated fabrication processes. The company's PrecisionSlit technology facilitates the slitting of both thermoset and thermoplastic prepreg composite tapes to widths as narrow as .125 inches (3.2mm), and can match tape lengths, winding patterns, liner materials and spool size to meet specific fabrication requirements.
Web's automated ply cutting and kitting services supply expertly formatted composite, specialty fabric and film materials in pre-assembled kits to companies looking to optimize their manufacturing processes. In addition, Web's supply chain management and vendor-managed inventory services enable manufacturers to balance downstream production with upstream material management, allowing them to concentrate on their core competencies.
