Aero Montreal and ACADA have sign collaboration agreement for the MACH-Atlantic initiative
Monday, 2 December 2019

Aero Montreal and the Atlantic Canada Aerospace and Defence Association (ACADA) have signed a Collaboration Agreement to launch the MACH Initiative within Atlantic Canada.

The agreement, signed today in Boucherville, by Mrs. Suzanne Benoit, President, Aero Montreal and Mr. Carl Kumpic, Vice Chair of ACADA, representing Brian Johnston, Chair, ACADA, grants ACADA an exclusive license to use and to deploy the MACH Initiative (the licensed Trademarks associated with competitiveness and productivity certification for suppliers involved in the aerospace industry) within the Atlantic region.

The MACH initiative aims to strengthen the competitiveness of the supply chain structure. To this end, it focuses on privileged collaborative links between customers and suppliers through the implementation of strategies and projects. This initiative fills the gaps regarding the integration capabilities of Quebec and in the future, within the Atlantic regions, thereby supporting the development of a competitive world-class supply chain.

"The deployment of the MACH-Atlantic Initiative demonstrates the strength and credibility of the program. It is a turnkey solution for developing and improving the operational efficiency of suppliers. This initiative has been implemented successfully in Quebec and contributes to improve the productivity of Quebec companies enrolled in the program. The deployment of the initiative in other regions of Canada supports our international competitiveness", said Ms. Suzanne M. Benoit, President of Aero Montreal.

"This is an extremely exciting project that builds on the success of the Aero-Montreal MACH Initiative and will help to elevate the global competitiveness of Canadian Atlantic region Aerospace and Defence sector manufacturers and suppliers. We look forward to working closely with the team at Aero Montreal to successfully implement and further develop the MACH-Atlantic Initiative to our ACADA membership.," stated Mr. Kumpic, Vice Chair of ACADA.
