VASO PJSC (part of the Transport Aviation Division of the UAC of Rostec State Corporation), completed the production of the next set of units for the Il-76MD-90A heavy military transport aircraft.
Its shipment to the finalist plant of Aviastar-SP JSC (Ulyanovsk) will take place in May. These works are carried out on the basis of the Center for Specialization in nacelles and pylons for passenger and transport aircraft operating at VASO within the framework of the new industrial UAC model.
"As part of the state defense order this year, we plan to produce five aircraft kits for the IL-76MD-90A," says the acting Managing Director of PJSC "VASO" Alexander Yarchevsky. - In April, we shipped sets of engine nacelles, pylons and flap rails to Aviastar-SP. In May, according to the schedules, the next set of engine nacelles and flap rail will leave for Ulyanovsk. The works are carried out according to the terms agreed upon with Aviastar-SP, in compliance with anti-epidemic measures and sanitary standards. "
