Jetson unveils the Jetson ONE
Thursday, 21 October 2021

Swedish based start-up, Jetson, have created a personal electric aerial vehicle available to everyone. The unveiling of the Jetson ONE eVTOL aircraft will take place on 21st October 2021.

Jetson was founded by Peter Ternstrom and Tomasz Patan in 2017. After successfully creating a prototype "proof of concept" in the spring of 2018. It took a further three years to create a consumer-friendly version.

The project resulted in the Jetson ONE, a commercially available personal electric aerial vehicle that anyone can own and fly.

"Our mission is to make flight available to everyone. The Jetson ONE is an electric helicopter that you can own and fly. We intend to make everyone a pilot." said Peter Ternstrom, Founder.

The personal electric aerial vehicle market is relatively new with an estimated 170 companies in the world trying to build flying cars at this present moment. Of these 170 companies, only 7 have created something viable with only 2 companies currently offering a product available to the consumer.

Other companies that have something tangible are companies such as Airbus and Google. Comparatively to the other products on the market the Jetson ONE requires virtually no maintenance, it is an extremely compact VTOL, that re-charges faster than a smartphone with an incredibly futuristic design.

"The Jetson ONE is built around a rigid aluminium spaceframe with eight powerful electric motors. It utilises composite carbon fibre and cutting-edge 3D printed components, making it an extremely lightweight design. It is also equipped with many safety features including a redundant propulsion system and a ballistic parachute. It is a dream to fly." added Tomasz Patan – Founder and Technical Director.

The Jetson ONE has already sold out for 2022 production and are now accepting deliveries in 2023.
