AASC announces expansion plans

Applied Aerospace Structures Corporation (AASC), a leading manufacturer specializing in lightweight structures for the aerospace industry, began construction this month on the latest facility expansion.

The expansion includes the addition of a new 85,000 square foot high-bay manufacturing building, making it the largest single structure building at AASC and bringing the total facility to 415,000 square feet. Along with the new building, AASC will be enlarging the employee parking lot and installing a 1 Megawatt solar power canopy system in support of its green manufacturing goals.

Company CEO Kevin Bidlack said, “This facility expansion demonstrates AASC’s ongoing commitment to provide additional capacity for our customers, additional growth opportunities for our employees, and a commitment to reducing our carbon footprint with a 1MW solar power generating system. We are excited for this next chapter of growth in our company’s history!”
