Ruag Aerostructures Germany & Hungary has extended its long-standing and successful cooperation with Airbus. The business segment will supply fuselage sections and side shells for the Airbus A320 family and the Airbus A330. RUAG Aerostructures Germany & Hungary is a long-standing supplier to Airbus. In 2023, Ruag Aerostructures was also honored with the Global Supplier Award for Operational Excellence 2023.

Ruag Aerostructures Germany & Hungary, a business segment of Ruag International, has confirmed its long-standing partnership with Airbus: For a multi-year period, Ruag Aerostructures Germany & Hungary will produce and supply the rear fuselage section as well as side shells of the center fuselage sections for the Airbus A320 family and the Airbus A330. At the same time, Ruag Aerostructures Germany & Hungary will remain single source supplier in two important work packages for the Airbus A320 family and one work package for the Airbus A330.

For André Wall, CEO Ruag International, the renewal of the long-standing partnership is a vote of confidence in the successful partnership as well as a promise for future cooperation: "The A320 family is one of the most successful aircraft programs in the history of aviation. More than 12,000 sections delivered

Ruag Aerostructures Germany & Hungary has delivered sections for more than 12,000 A320 family aircraft to date, underlining Ruag Aerostructures' manufacturing expertise. By developing new products and manufacturing technologies and consistently implementing its best-cost strategy, the company is positioning itself as a specialist in the development, manufacture, and final assembly of complete aircraft structures.

Honored with Airbus Supplier Award

In mid-October, Ruag Aerostructures Germany & Hungary received the Global Supplier Award for Operational Excellence at the Airbus Global Supplier Conference 2023 in Toulouse. A strong focus on continuous improvement of product quality throughout the year and straightforward solutions and change approaches contributed to this.
