PRESS RELEASE
Issued by: AURA AERO
At AERO Friedrichshafen, the OSAC (Agency for Civil Aviation Safety – a delegation from the DGAC – and the exclusive body responsible for airworthiness safety in France), has issued AURA AERO with the finalized POA (Production Organization Agreement - Rating A), for the entire Integral family.
After having received agreements PART 21G (production) in November 2021 and PART 21J (industrial design) in September 2023, followed by EASA certification for Integral R last December, AURA AERO consolidates, with Rating A, its status as an aircraft manufacturer and holds now all necessary authorizations to launch series deliveries of its two-seater trainer with aerobatic capabilities. In fact, the next aircraft is almost ready for delivery.
Wilfried DUFAUD, Co-founder, Executive Director & Head of Airworthiness of AURA AERO underlines: “On behalf of the whole AURA AERO team, I would like to thank the authorities, with whom we have done a remarkable job, working hand in hand, to deliver an aircraft that complies with the highest safety regulations”.
Since its launch in 2018, the manufacturer has been working, closely and on a daily basis, with the French and international certification authorities, for both Integral and ERA programs, to ensure the production of the safest aircraft, in strict compliance with safety standards.
Jérémy CAUSSADE, Co-founder and President of AURA AERO, emphasizes: “All the conditions are now in place for series production and delivery of our Integral aircraft. 2025 will mark the culmination of seven years' hard work, to make our vision of tomorrow's aviation a reality!” Integral is a new-generation two-seater side by-side training aircraft with aerobatic capabilities, suited for civil and military use, and available in thermal or fully electric versions:
- Integral R: aerobatics, tailwheel, thermal engine (Lycoming), EASA certified, pending FAA certification in 2025, deliveries ongoing since April 2025;
- Integral S: training and leisure, nosewheel, thermal engine (Lycoming), pending EASA certification;
- Integral E: available in R or S version, electric motor (Safran ENGINeUS), ongoing flight test campaign since December 2024, EASA certification and first deliveries expected in Q4 2026.
