MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH received the type certificate P64 for the 5-blade hydraulic constant speed MTV-5-1 by Transport Canada.

The MTV-5-1 has a weight between 34kg (74.96 lbs) (constant speed) and 43kg (94.8 lbs) (constand speed, feather, reverse) depending on propeller-design configuration and a diameter between 140cm (55.11in) - 220cm (86,61in) for turbine engines up to max. countinous power of 410kw (557hp) and max. continous speed of 2200rpm and 140cm (55.11in) - 200cm (78.74in) for piston engines max. countinous power of 261kw (354hp) and max. continous speed of 2500rpm.

The MTV-5-1 propeller is the lightest5-bladed turbo prop version certified on the RR250 and PT6A turbines.

It can be installed on aircraft like the Grob 120TP, Beech A36 RR250, Cessna 206G or Cessna P210N for increased performance and less weight compared to the original metal propeller.
