Embraer, a global leader in the aerospace industry, today signed its affiliation with the Mexican Federation of Aerospace Industry (FEMIA) during FAMEX. The affiliation aims to strengthen Embraer's presence and representation in Mexico, increase collaboration with the country's aeronautical industry, and promote new business opportunities.
"FEMIA is very proud to celebrate the formalization of Embraer as a new member of our organization. Embraer is one of the most important manufacturers in the aerospace sector in the world, both in civil and defense matters, and participating as a member of FEMIA opens up important opportunities for collaboration in the development of this company in our country," said Luis Lizcano, president of the Mexican Federation of Aerospace Industry.
"It is with great satisfaction that we sign Embraer's affiliation with FEMIA during FAMEX 2025. This is an important milestone that represents another significant step in the strategic cooperation between Embraer and the Mexican aeronautical industry," said Fabio Caparica, Embraer Vice President of Defense and Security Contracts.
Present in Mexico for more than 40 years, Embraer currently has a fleet of more than 100 aircraft in operation in the country, including commercial, executive, and defense jets.
