XPeng AeroHT has reached a significant milestone as the production certificate (PC) application for its "Land Aircraft Carrier" Air Module (Project Code: X3-F) has been officially accepted by the Civil Aviation Administration of China’s South Central Regional Administration. This marks a critical step in the evaluation of the company’s production system for its flying car products.
Following the acceptance of the type certificate (TC) application for the "Land Aircraft Carrier" Air Module on March 21, 2024, XPeng AeroHT has been rigorously cooperating with the Type Ceritification Team to ensure compliance with civil aviation regulations. The TC review process is currently in the compliance determination phase. The acceptance of the PC application now represents a pivotal step toward mass production and delivery, targeted for 2026.
The production certificate (PC) is a certification issued by aviation authorities to a type design approval holder or its transferee, authorizing the production of a product in accordance with its approved design and quality system. The quality system must ensure that each aircraft and component conforms to its approved design and is in a condition for safe operation.
Currently, XPeng AeroHT’s Flying Car Intelligent Manufacturing Base is progressing rapidly, with the assembly, painting, joint, and composites shops now structurally completed. The production facility is now 70% complete and is scheduled for final completion by the fourth quarter of 2025.
