After being announced in September 2024, the creation of Satys Coatings is now effective. This new group is the result of the carve-out of both Satys Aerospace's Surface Treatment and Expiris laboratory technical expertise activities (Expiris equally owned with Gaches Chimie).

The group's roadmap will concentrate on the following priorities:

- High quality and strict compliance with specifications

- Development of REACH-compliant processes

- Significant reduction in processing times for all plants, with a target of 5 to 10 days for forecasted NPs, and maintain an OTD (on time delivery) of over 85% in the context of strong ramp-up

- Start-up of the Anaphoresis unit in May 2025. Located on the Dugny site in the Île-de-France region, this unit represents a major technological breakthrough for the European aerospace industry

- Production ramp-up at the Gyula site in Hungary (a joint venture with a Hungarian public industrial holding company)

- Improved health and safety conditions for personnel and protection of industrial sites

- Start-up of a renovation program at the Marseille site.

The organization of Satys Coatings Group aims to be highly operational. The general management is led by Thierry Cotelle, who will oversee a management team including Frédéric Seguy, Director of the Cornebarrieu sites, with Manuela Almeida, and Dugny, Michel Regne, Director of the Marseille and Gyula (Hungary) sites, with Attila Kiss, Olivier Laurent, Director of quality and continuous improvement, Mathieu Schneider-Maunoury, Project Manager and Florian Briançon, Administrative and Financial Director.

Satys Coatings Group, which employs 300 people across its four industrial sites, and whose principal shareholder is Christophe Cador, founder and president of Satys Aerospace, will achieve a turnover of 33 million euros in 2025. The target for Satys Coatings Group for 2028 is a turnover of 40 million euros and an EBITDA of 8%.
