Elysian Aircraft relocates to Fokker Services Group site
Wednesday, 21 May 2025

Elysian Aircraft, the Dutch startup redefining the future of emission-free air travel, has relocated to the site of Fokker Services Group in Hoofddorp. The move deepens the company’s integration into the national aviation ecosystem and marks a key step in its mission to accelerate clean aviation.

Elysian Aircraft is developing the first large-scale battery-electric aircraft designed for routes up to 800 kilometers. The new location, near Schiphol Airport, provides space for growth and proximity to leading aviation companies. It also carries symbolic weight as a landmark of Dutch aerospace engineering.

“Clean aviation is not a solo project. It requires collaboration, and this location is perfect for that,” said Daniel Rosen Jacobson, Co-CEO of Elysian Aircraft.

Greener Course

Fokker Services Group - a global leader in aircraft maintenance, modifications, completions, and conversions - actively contributes to sustainable aviation technologies through collaborations with initiatives like Fokker Next Gen, AeroDelft, and Elysian Aircraft. “Elysian Aircraft’s battery-electric solution is distinctive and represents a key initiative to accelerate sustainability in the sector”, says Roland van Dijk, co-CEO of Fokker Services Group.

Industry Collaboration Essential

The aviation startup’s founders say the relocation demonstrates both their rapid growth and mission’s urgency. “We are proud to build the future of flight in a place with such a rich aviation history,” said Daniel Rosen Jacobson. “This move reflects our momentum and reinforces the importance of cooperation in transforming aviation sustainability.”
